Dearest Aunty Maria, cousins Katina, John, Victor, Carol, Manuel, Emma, Olivia, James, James, and Marianne, Our deepest sympathy for your loss. May uncle Jim Rest In Peace. Uncle Jim was a very kind, generous and warm hearted man. He will always be much loved by my family. My brothers and I spent much time at your family home whilst growing up and we have so many fond memories. Your mum and dad were always very hospitable and welcoming to us. They wonderful friends to my parents. Even with your dad’s own challenges, he found time to regularly visit my dad in the nursing home. We thank him for his love, loyalty and generosity of time. We will miss him greatly, but he will be in our hearts forever. Love always Chrissy Cordato, Maria, Bill, Andie, Curtis and Chrissie Sioulas xx

Uncle Jim was always someone who was genuinely welcoming of his friends and relatives and interested in what they had to say. He loved it when new members of the family arrived such as my wife and sons, but he was also very respectful of older members like his many Aunts and Uncles that came to Australia. His passing is a great loss to us all. Dear Katina, John, Manuel, Emma, Olivia, James, Victor, Carol, James, Marianne + Aunt Maria, Thank you for the opportunity to see the photos We will all remember him fondly.

Sylvia Milis and Family
Uncle Jim Alfieris was a constant in my family's life, for my whole existence. My memories of him are of a real gentleman, a dedicated family man, a joker, a poet, a fisherman, a 'biz' player, an avid gardener, a psittaculturist ( a parrot breeder). Our families were always together, socializing and having fun. He was a person you could count upon, to help with that characteristic smile on his face. He is now up there with the rest of the gang - Uncle Archie, my dad and all the other fellow Kytherian friends and family that preceded him (too many to list here!) We will not see anyone like him, again. We will all miss him. Zωή σε εσάς. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all - Katina, John, Manuel, Emma, Olivia, James C., Victor, Carol, James A., Marianne and Aunty Maria. With all our love and respect for a great man, Sylvia, Dimitri, Maria and Stacey Milis

For many, a funeral is a ritual of loss and connection where we remember our loved ones who have passed and comfort the living. The coronavirus outbreak has altered that ritual and changed the way we say goodbye: the loss remains, the connections change.

The family has the difficult decision of which ten people will attend the funeral. They are aware that many of you would like to attend but unfortunately, due to the restrictions in place, it is not possible.

Use the options above to leave a message or tribute to the family or to order flowers.

Following the funeral on Wednesday, a recording of the funeral service and a video celebrating James' life will be available for your viewing.
